Iron Bridge was founded by Richard (Rick) B. Inman, Jr. and John R. Hand. Both principals bring considerable prior investment and transactional experience to Iron Bridge.

Rick Inman.  Prior to founding Iron Bridge, Mr. Inman served as President of Tucker Federal Bank.  While at Tucker Federal, Mr. Inman grew the bank from $200 million of assets to over $1 billion.  While at Tucker, Mr. Inman started and ran a real estate investment subsidiary called Eagle Bancshares Capital.  Eagle Bancshares invested over $30 million and earned an average annual IRR of  27%.  He also chaired the Senior Loan Committee as well as the Asset Classification Committee which handles all work-outs.  Mr. Inman began his career with Citibank in New York and has over 25 years of experience.  He received an M.B.A. from Stanford and a B.S. in Economics from Georgia Tech.

 

John Hand.  Prior to Iron Bridge, Mr. Hand executed acquisitions for Westbrook Partners, a $6.5 billion real estate opportunity fund headquartered in New York City. While at Westbrook, Mr. Hand executed a variety of real estate investments including office portfolios, master-planned communities, multifamily and resort/second home development.  Prior to joining Westbrook, Mr. Hand practiced commercial real estate law with King & Spalding in Atlanta, Georgia.  Mr. Hand received his J.D./M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Business from the University of North Carolina.
